About me

I've lived within the Coastal Bend area and have been a proud Texan my whole life. Throughout my career I’ve dedicated myself to helping others, first as a School Counselor and then as a Licensed Professional Counselor. These experiences have allowed me to work with a diverse range of people and have given me a deep appreciation for the unique strengths and challenges within our schools, community, and state.

  • Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you to counseling, your goals, and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy. There is no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with—this space is yours.

  • Getting started is simple and designed to be low-pressure.

You can schedule a free 15-minute consultation through my online booking system (Calendly). This brief consultation allows us to:

    • See if we’re a good fit

    • Talk about what brings you to counseling

    • Review insurance, self-pay, or sliding scale options

    • Ask any questions you may have before beginning therapy

If we decide to move forward, we’ll schedule your initial intake session, where we’ll complete paperwork and begin the counseling process.

If you prefer, you’re also welcome to reach out via email or phone, and I’ll be happy to help you get scheduled.

  • An intake session is the first full counseling appointment. During this session, we’ll review background information, discuss your goals, and begin building a plan that feels supportive, affirming, and tailored to your needs.
